What if I check out a large book and can't finish it in two weeks?
Posted by:No problem! Just come by the library and I will renew it for you. You will be able to keep it for two more weeks. -
I'm new to the school district. How do I get an Internet log-in and password?
Posted by:Visit the guidance office for the form to request a username and password. Once you turn the form in to them the request will go to the district's IT department. -
How do I get to the Accelerated Reader program at school?
Posted by:Click on Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Safari (if you are using a Mac). The student homepage comes up. The link to Accelerated Reader is located near the bottom of the page. -
What books am I allowed to check out?
Posted by:You can check out any book from the library as long as it is not in the reference section (books labeled REF on the spine label). -
What happens if I don't pay for my lost book or pay my fines (including printing)?
Posted by:If you do not pay your fines in the library you will be added to the debt list. If your name is added to the debt list your student privileges are revoked. -
I do need a library card to check out books?
Posted by:You do not need a library card to check out books. However, you must provide your name, student ID number (lunch number), and the name of your first block teacher when checking out books for the first time. After that you will only need to type your lunch number into the keypad or provide your ID card to be scanned. -
I REALLY want a book and it is checked out. Now what?
Posted by:I can put it on hold for you. The system will alert me when it is checked in. -
Is my name on the school debt list because I have a $0.15 overdue fine?
Posted by:Possibly, if I have recently turned the library debts in to Mrs. Baxter. -
Can I check out more than one book at a time?
Posted by:Yes, you may check out two books at a time. If you are completing research for one of your classes I will usually let you check out more than two books. If you have an outstanding balance on your account (overdue fines or lost books) I will not let you check out more than one book at a time.
