The Student Council Association  (SCA) is established to represent the interests of all Southampton High

School students, provide a platform for the student body to express their concerns and opinions, and to

unify the student body through social activities and community service opportunities.

Article IV: Structure

Section 1: The Executive Board shall consist of the six elected school-wide officers, the four elected class

presidents, and SCA Advisor(s). It will be the final executive authority on all SCA matters.

Section 2: The Executive Committee shall consist of the members of the Executive Board, the remaining

elected officers of the four classes, and up to five at-large representatives from each of the four

classes. It will be responsible for planning, organizing, and carrying out all SCA sponsored

activities.

Section 3: Any student enrolled at Southampton High School may attend SCA meetings but will not have

voting rights. The meetings are also open to staff and administration.

We are currently holding after school meetings at the beginning of each month.  Please contact a SCA officer if you have any questions.
