Throughout this workshop the students will be working on finding the topic, main idea, & details. The students will also be learning target vocabulary words and word study strategies (synonyms and antonyms). The students will also be working on expository writing, identifying sentences & fragments, and using correct end punctuation.
During computer time students will work on specific reading and language skills on their individual level. The computer lessons are also themed with high interest topics like natural disasters, extreme sports, Princess Dianna, survival, and high profile careers.
