Acting Superintendent

I am extremely honored and humbled to serve as your Acting Superintendent. I have dedicated my adult life to servant leadership, anchored in a deep belief in service, integrity, and the transformative power of education. As a proud graduate of Norfolk State University—Behold the Green and Gold, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, followed by a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction and a Doctor of Education from Walden University. These experiences have shaped my unwavering commitment to lifelong learning and leading with purpose.

As your Acting Superintendent for Southampton County Schools, I will lead with a G.P.A.: grace, poise, and a positive attitude. Which means, I will lead with love, compassion, and understanding, ensuring that accountability and transparency guide every decision while intentionally cultivating a positive culture and climate. I am committed to advancing educational equality and equity while strengthening relationships across our school community with all stakeholders. Together, we will empower our staff, uplift our students, and create meaningful opportunities that will lead to lasting success for all. Family, we are better together!
