    Review and recapitulation of previously learned material: The student will be able to identify classroom rules and regulations, recognize and define terms from Cosmetology I, and demonstrate their ability to successfully perform Cosmetology II skills. That will be prepared to take the Virginia State Boards.

     

    Orientation

    1.            Hand out course syllabus/outline and review for understanding.

    2.            Review class room procedures/rules and expectations.

    3.       Review computer usage and regulations only for cosmetology.

    4.            Explain procedure of receiving and signing for progress checks.

    5.            Explain in detail all projects/competitions and my expectations for both.

    6.            Explain the importance of completing all homework as it’s related to preparing students for written/practical test.

    7.            Students will read the anticipatory set/warm up the beginning of class.

    8.       Explain SkillsUSA club, the importance in of the role and benefits.
